The Amazons, what can we say? Amazing!! Striking the nation with their first single “Black Magic”, an instant hit and attention grabbing piece of music you absolutely will not get sick of. Now The Amazons have produced a second single that is just as awesome and attention grabbing “Junk Food Forever”!
Formed in Reading, The Amazons are initially a Rock n Roll band that certainly look and sound the part, it’s easy to criticise a young and upcoming band who are a hit with a first single; take Blossoms for instance. But I urge you not to criticise The Amazons as they are filling a huge gap in the Rock n Roll genre and it’s what we need! Some say Rock n Roll is dead but these guys are re birthing it.
“Junk Food Forever” follows the band in a living room depicting people from normal lives struggling with day to day tasks and just saying “f**k it” in a somewhat twisted and dramatic manner but life just gets too tough sometimes. The Amazons have created a relateable message matching with a motivating and climatic song, how could you not love them?! With the release of “Black Magic” a heavy and hardcore piece of music that you just want to let loose to, “Junk Food Forever” follows this theme though slower and a little more Indie, nonethless The Amazons are the band we have been waiting for to bring back that Rock n Roll edge but obviously cool and loveable at the same time.
Upcoming Indie guys Glass Caves have released their latest single “Swim” and damn, it’s honestly a gooden’. Being fans of Glass Caves for some time now, their back catologue is epic and exceptional live. Constantly touring across the UK and busking their original material, Glass […]

London based Rockers J.W Paris have debuted a DIY video for their single “Rapture” which previews an insight into their chaotic Rock ‘n’ Roll life. The threesome have been gigging in and around London for some time now building a dedicated fan base, with the release of “Rapture” it creates an excitement and core to their rich rock sound.
The video is extremely DIY, but not lacking talent or quality; it in fact adds to the meaning of J.W Paris and that these guys are cool, chaotic and extremely hard working. Constantly in the studio working on new material, gigging in London building their repertoire and fan base and of course developing their style musically and practically with new merch available.
With inspiration from Iggy Pop, The Dandy Warhols and The White Stripes; J.W Paris are the British Rock band that is currently missing from the young rockers ears. Raw, imaginative and ballsy, these guys have brought back the term Rock ‘n’ Roll, don’t believe me? Then catch them live! Daring duo singers Daniel Collins and Aaron Forde have an amazing chemistry that inspires a bromance, nonetheless hot on the eyes for that Rock star look. Not to mention, Drummer Josh Cronin’s impeccable talent really shines in “Rapture” making it your new Rock hit to sing in the streets.
Catch them live 21st April @ Underbelly, Hoxton Sq.

Kent four-piece Glass Peaks debut new single “Speak and Spell” which is the perfect alt-pop song to dish up on a Tuesday afternoon. With a visually pleasing video to match the single, it highlights the bands hard work in releasing a great song supported by a reputable and rewarding video. “Speak and Spell” features trickling guitars and echoing electronic beats that make it pop but enough rock to make it cool and not be categorised incorrectly, whilst the music grows throughout creating climax and that ultimate head banging material; it’s the passion of the vocals setting the song making you want to listen to the song on repeat and sing along with your hands in the air!
The video extremely current with neon lights, creative choreography and not a bad looking band proves respectable and a great growth for the band. A standing ovation should be presented for Glass Peaks as their diligence and hard work is completely evident. The video is perfectly shot and is so good we’ve featured it for our daily dose of videos we are loving right now!
Props to ya Glass Peaks.
