Fate is a powerful thing. For example, if a certain four musicians from the midlands hadn’t all been at the exact same crossroad in life, at the exact same time, Super73 wouldn’t exist. Having recently aborted their previous bands the group were drawn together like moths to a lantern, each in search of a new musical adventure.
The band comprises of ex-members from some of Leicester’s most well respected rock bands, Themselves, Ictus and Citizen Smith. Sharing in their experience, influences and talent, this foursome has been working hard to raise the bar and push things forward into 2013.
Having clocked up over 1000 gigs between them, released critically acclaimed EP’s and gained a whole lot of life experiences this collective produce a clean and professional sound. This is alternative rock for an audience who like things done with poise and precision. These guys have it nailed to hard rocking perfection.
Super73 sound like an amalgamation of collective influences, try; Mclusky, Reuben, Future of The Left, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Jacobs Mouse, Our Lady Peace, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Placebo, Jimmy Eat World, Million Dead and Frank Turner.
