English rockers Don Broco have released new single “Pretty” under some odd and twisted circumstances; leading fans to believe bassist Tom Doyle was set to be married. The bands Social Media platforms such as Snapchat and Instgram were flooded with wedding preparation videos featuring the guys in white suits and updates of the bands status as supporters of Tom’s wedding. Little did we know, Don Broco successfully fooled us with the wedding being the theme to the bands new video for new single “Pretty” which ain’t so pretty!
The video features Lead Singer Rob Damiani cutting Bassist Tom Doyle’s face and replacing it to trick wedding goers so Rob could in fact marry bride to be Sidney, obviously chaos is caused and the band steal each others identities in a graphic and gorey manner, Don Broco have certainly made a statement with this video.
The song itself “Pretty” is heavy, cool and an instant hit with social media blasting only love for it… it is indeed a banger. With their previous single “Everybody” which still remains one of my favourite songs ever; Don Broco are heavier, more rock and more grit! Approaching the rock scene just few years ago the band were heavily criticized for being “a boy band” and “too pop” for the Rock scene, but with recent singles it seems Don Broco are dominating the Rock genre.
New Single “Pretty” is featured on our Video of the week.

New York based band The Commuters have debuted a visually pleasing and stimulating video for their single “Before I Was Born”, the song itself is awesome with epic beats and whirring tones to bring an edgy feel to the song. With lead singer Zeeshan Zaidi’s soft and husky tone, it reminisces of alternative grunge 90s, then is ripped back to a powerful anthemic feel as his high notes are drawn out and echoed against the rustic guitar. “Before I Was Born” is the ideal single for getting over that heart break but motivating you to get out and see the world. When a song pushes emotion and inspires you, you know you’re on to something good…
The video somewhat trippy featuring hectic visuals and colours, with floating lines and shapes giving a fuzzy feel to it, correlating with the song’s depth which is thought provoking and meaningful. Solemn shades of blue shape shifting against Zaidi depicts his own thoughts and ideas. Deep stuff but extremely creative we like it! The Commuters have created a highly inspiring song both visually and aurally, engaging fully with the listener it’s the type of song where you’re left thinking about for days.

Naming your first single “MDMA”, you’re going to get a mixed reception on whether it’s cool to stick out from the norm or if you’re trying too hard to be cool and different. Well MUX have successfully stuck out from the norm and it’s a banger!
MUX have delivered an exceptional and exciting first single, beginning with a solemn echo and simple strums of the guitar with a calming tone; it quickly escalates to dirty electronic scratches. With lead singer Tiziano Pilustri’s moody vocals throughout with the dark undertone, it’s 2 minutes in when the come up really happens; Though Pilustri’s voice is awesome and sets a great tone for the song. It’s really the guitar that is the main focus here, the dirty, scratchy and somewhat sexual tone to the song obviously correlates to the theme. Ultimately, it’s a great first single and has already got our attention and no doubt going to get some more, we just want more!!
